About our store
Absolute Shrimp is an Australian aquarium shrimp specialist based in Sydney, NSW, dedicated to breeding, trading, and sharing high-quality freshwater shrimp.
Founded by Ben Lee — @absoluteshrimp — we started with a simple passion for the colour, character, and calm of a thriving shrimp tank, and grew into one of Australia's go-to sources for premium Neocaridina and Caridina.
We focus on selectively bred lines with strong colour and genetics, including favourites like Bloody Mary, Blue Dream, Yellow Cherry, Sunkist Orange, Red Galaxy Snowflake and more. All shrimp are home-bred and raised.
Whether you're starting your first colony or adding to a high-grade display, we provide juvies to breeding-ready adults, along with essentials like Indian Almond Leaves, shrimp sanctuaries and care advice.
We offer Australia-wide Express Post in insulated, breather-bag packaging with tracking, and a full DOA policy for peace of mind. Local pickup available in Revesby.
At Absolute Shrimp, it's more than shrimp — it's quality you can see, trust you can keep, and where I strive to give the best possible quality of shrimps and food
