Why we built MateLoop
One place for pets, supplies, services and community — built by pet owners in Australia.
We’re Jun and Thi — pet owners who got tired of juggling multiple websites. Some platforms won’t let you buy, sell or rehome live pets. Others are fine for gear but not animals. And when you want to ask a question or swap tips with other pet people, you often end up on a completely separate forum.
We built MateLoop to pull that together: listings for aquatic pets, dogs and cats (for sale, rehome and adoption), supplies and live plants, pet services, plus community spaces to ask and answer — all on one Australian platform.
Adoption matters to us too. Rescue groups do vital work; we wanted an easier way for adoption organisations to reach families ready for a new pet, and for adopters to find them without hunting across the web.
MateLoop helps people buy, sell, rehome and adopt aquatic pets, dogs and cats — with suburb-based search, supplies and live plants, pet services, and community spaces for questions and advice. MateLoop is operated by MATELOOP PTY LTD — Australian-owned.
